The D’Albora Children’s Crisis Stabilization Unit(CCSU) is a state licensed 16 bed inpatient program to treat psychiatric emergencies that are not safe to be managed on an outpatient basis and to provide detoxification and stabilization services for substance abuse crisis situations affecting children and adolescents. Most clients are admitted on an involuntary basis under the provisions of the Baker or Marchman Acts for involuntary treatment. The staff are highly qualified, under the leadership of a Board Certified psychiatrist, and work intensively with the children or adolescents and their parents to return them to outpatient care as quickly as possible.
The D’Albora Children’s Center (CCSU) is located at 400 East Sheridan Road Melbourne, FL.
